Sangria is an imperfect homunc, and also made by Claret. Yes. She is basically the only successful thing Claret has created and it was largely by ACCIDENT.

Hello, have I introduced you to Carmine yet? No? Oh okay I should fix that. This is CARMINE. He’s another imperfect Homunculus like Chartreuse! Except he likes to keep to himself and is even more ~imperfect-y~ He’s also all arms and legs and claws and horns and weird spikes on his back where Chartreuse is just all torso. He’s also RED instead of GREEN (and purple for some reason). Even his skin is sort of pink-ish white-ish but YOU CAN’T SEE THAT HERE! He’s not really in ER’s main storyline (Chartreuse or Echo might mention him in passing once or twice, though), but he might show up in a sub-story. He is old. And doesn’t like to associate with humans at all. He also runs a MONSTER FIGHTAN ARENATHING In a cave. That humanoid-y monsters can place bets on Except not really for money. Do monsters even use money? I should know this but I don’t. Anyway, Carmine is a pretty cool dude.

rigaudon: brokenallegory: Okay! Let’s talk about ECHO. Echo is hands down my absolute favourite OC. He’s partly a sort of ~guilty pleasure~ character in the fact that I basically made him to be… exactly the type of character I like. HE’S RIDICULOUSLY OVERPOWERED BUT I DON’T CARE. He’s also a villain.. kind of sort of. I’m not a fan of black-and-white characters. Villainous villains are boring. Heroic heroes are boring. I like characters that are morally ambiguous and will change sides depending on what’s in it for them. NOT HELPING THE HERO BECAUSE IT’S RIGHT, BUT HELPING THE HERO BECAUSE OH SHIT THE WORLD IS GOING TO END AND I KIND OF LIKE THE WORLD SO I’LL HELP YOU OUT HERO. Except Echo sort of MAKES the sides and doesn’t join any of them. He has his own agenda. Echo’s the main antagonist but he’s not “evil” (and he’s certainly not good.). His motivations are weird and he does things just because he’s omnipotent and immortal and has WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON HIS HANDS TO DO SOCIAL EXPERIMENTS. It also makes him really narcissistic and over-confident, because even though he’s immortal, he’s not invincible. As much as he’d like to think he is. And for being SO OLD he’s gotten pretty good at being patient… as long as things end up the way he wants them to. If things go wrong at the last second and someone screws up 200 years of planning he is GOING TO BE PISSED. Like killing his best friends. That sort of ticks him off and he’s going to come after you and beat your face in… after he makes a futile attempt at resurrecting them in another body. He’s also very likely pansexual based on his personality. But me being me that translates to straight-but-is-kind-of-flirty-with-everyone. Plus, he’s had the same girlfriend for the past few thousand years…He is basically a self-named God, and in actuality is the closest thing Aural has to one. Not that most of them even know he exists. He likes to set up other false Gods and manipulate everything behind the scenes. He’s also one of my few characters that I actually draw wearing different outfits! Though THEY ALL CONSIST OF SOME DRAPEY COAT OF SOME KIND. ECHO IS BASICALLY THE ONE SINGLE THING THAT MAKES ER ALL THAT IT IS. EVERYTHING WOULD BE DIFFERENT WITHOUT HIM. Yess working on character ref doodles again. Okay so these are New!Sonata, Arco, and Cadenza. New!Sonata (to replace the old and kind of dead one) Is sort of under-developed. I’m not sure which story she’ll go in, probably Silence because she’s Bolero’s new partner after she was reassigned to another city. Umm. Mint(Chord) hates her, because Old!Sonata was her boyfriend and he got the Riff and DIED, and Nocturne went and found a random homeless girl to be New!Sonata. And then Mint broke her nose and went rogue, blahblah. :( she will probably be minor in whatever story she’s in, anyway. Arco issss a new Melody, and a minormajor character in Cacophony, mostly because Viola and Viol are part of the ~expedition~ and his abilities support string-type Melodies. He’s kind of quiet and generally feels like he’s only around because of his Term. :( He has self-esteem issues. Cadenza is a main character in Cacophony and sort of the leader of the expedition. She wears a different colour of tights every day. She doesn’t really get along with Alto and likes to flaunt her rank superiority over her.

Was experimenting with colouring styles and lining. Yeah. Someone drew Bolero and it made me realize that I never drew her, so I decided to draw her! So uhh. Bolero! Melody, speaks with a heavy accent because she’s from across the ~ocean~ Minuet’s (and later new!Sonata) partner. Partly responsible for a village being wiped out (but it was mostly Minuet’s fault), but all of the blame fell on her. Got ~relocated~ and assigned to a new partner(s). She’s a main character in the Silence sub-story, but it’s one I haven’t really put much thought into yet. :( ~Mute goes and does stuff with a bunch of people~.
